Amita considers herself forever indebted to the society, which has encouraged, motivated and inspired her art. She therefore considers it her sacred duty to strive and repay this debt so as to enrich the quality of life in whatever way she can.
The Studio today engages more than forty artists who started as just a motley group of street children. Backed by her resolve and her craft, these children, who could well have been wasted on the streets, are now proud artists, working with the studio and realizing their dreams. |
