Tanjore painting is an important form of classical South Indian Painting native to the town of Tanjavur in Tamilnadu. The Art dates back to 1600 AD. Tanjore Art is known for its richness, vivid colours and compact composition. The process of making a Tanjore painting involves many stages and is very interesting. A fine quality of gold leaf is used to embellish the painting. It is further decorated with semi precious stones.
At our Studio the students are allowed to paint and customise paintings to their liking and requirement. |
